Maintenance Operative

The Role As a Maintenance Operative, you will be the "go-to" person for site upkeep and minor works. You’ll:
  • General Maintenance: Lead the daily upkeep of facilities, including painting, decorating, and general handy work tasks.
  • Specialist Storage Support: Take responsibility for the assembly and disassembly of partition walls within storage units to meet customer needs.
  • Plumbing Support: Utilise basic plumbing skills and knowledge to address minor repairs and prevent service disruptions.
  • Regional Coverage: Travel across North London and occasionally toward the Bristol area to support various sites (Company van provided).
  • Equipment Care: Ensure all tools and the provided vehicle are maintained to a high standard.

To be successful in the role of Maintenance Operative, you’ll bring:
  • Technical Skills: Proven experience in general building maintenance, painting, and basic plumbing.
  • Hands-on Approach: Comfortable with physical tasks, including moving and installing partition wall systems.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel across a wide geographical range from London to the West Country when required.
  • Reliability: A proactive attitude toward identifying and fixing site issues before they escalate.
  • Licensing: A full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.
