Bristol. This is a vital position ensuring sites remain in top condition and fully operational.
The Role As a Maintenance Operative, you will be the "go-to" person for site upkeep and minor works. You’ll:
- General Maintenance: Lead the daily upkeep of facilities, including painting, decorating, and general handy work tasks.
- Specialist Storage Support: Take responsibility for the assembly and disassembly of partition walls within storage units to meet customer needs.
- Plumbing Support: Utilise basic plumbing skills and knowledge to address minor repairs and prevent service disruptions.
- Regional Coverage: Travel across North London and occasionally toward the Bristol area to support various sites (Company van provided).
- Equipment Care: Ensure all tools and the provided vehicle are maintained to a high standard.
You
To be successful in the role of Maintenance Operative, you’ll bring:
- Technical Skills: Proven experience in general building maintenance, painting, and basic plumbing.
- Hands-on Approach: Comfortable with physical tasks, including moving and installing partition wall systems.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel across a wide geographical range from London to the West Country when required.
- Reliability: A proactive attitude toward identifying and fixing site issues before they escalate.
- Licensing: A full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.
