This short-term (4-week), high-impact role offers the chance to contribute to a vital condition surveying programme across school estates, ensuring their properties are maintained to the highest standards.
The Role
As the Commercial Fabric Surveyor, you’ll:
• Conduct fabric condition surveys across primary and secondary school estates.
• Assess building elements and identify defects, lifecycle, and remedial works.
• Produce concise, commercially focused reports and costed recommendations.
• Maintain a rhythm of 1 day onsite surveys followed by 1 day of report write-up.
You
To be successful in the role of Commercial Fabric Surveyor, you’ll bring:
• Proven experience carrying out commercial or education building fabric surveys.
• Ability to work autonomously across multiple sites.
• Strong report writing and defect diagnosis skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally.
• Enhanced DBS (essential or ability to obtain immediately).
