The Role
As the Commercial Director, you’ll:
- Steer Commercial Strategy: Implement advanced pricing models, margin enhancement, and value engineering to meet ambitious annual revenue and EBITDA targets.
- Master Contractual Risk: Act as the authoritative expert on legal frameworks, meticulously interpreting documents to ensure all commercial and legal risks are mitigated within financial models.
- Lead Complex Tenders: Oversee the end-to-end commercial aspects of major FM tenders (e.g., CCS frameworks) across specialised sectors like healthcare, justice, and nuclear.
- Drive Governance: Identify critical "redlines" and provide essential guidance for "bid/no-bid" decisions during formal governance sessions.
- Engage Strategically: Manage client dialogue to resolve contract ambiguities and leverage competitor SWOT analysis to maintain a sharp market edge.
You To be successful in the role of Commercial Director, you’ll bring:
- FM Sector Expertise: A proven background in senior commercial management specifically within the Facilities Management sector.
- Legal & Financial Acumen: Exceptional ability to interpret complex legal contracts and translate them into robust, profitable financial structures.
